Presented by Being Productions, we complete 8 years entertaining, informing and educating our audience - this 40th show of the Ladies Compartment brings back the beloved, iconic characters who come together one fateful day in the Delhi Metro. Featuring an all-women cast (with a twist!), this is also the perfect opportunity to join us as we celebrate 8 years in theatre.

Synopsis:

Five women from different background, accidently get stuck in the ladies compartment of Metro, only to realize their blessings and ability to fight life with all their strengths. However, each of these colors holds its fort before merging into the white light through various dialogues, music, emotions and dance. The play is not only acted by women bar one, but also has been produced, directed and scripted by women. Every female audience will definitely identify / rather compare with one of the characters and every male audience will get a sneak peek into the forbidden zone of the Metro Ladies Compartment. There is definitely a take away from the play - in the end it leaves you pondering about our own life and our so called problems and whether it is really a problem ?

Parent Teachers Meeting [PTM]

It is a satirical take on our society and very much relevant for our current social environment. How the parents of school going kids are blinded by the rat race of coming first, foster brutal competition among kids and have unrealistic expectations from their own little children. How they burden their kids with emotional pressure, unhealthy stress and nurture a culture of hostility instead of harmony? What kind of next generation are we developing - insecure, materialistic and self-centered? Is this what we promised to our child when we held them first time in our arms? We at Being Theatre felt that, it is our moral responsibility to have a take on this social evil which is contagious and deadly. It is against our style to be preachy, rather we always believed in being subtle and transforming ourselves into a reflective mirror. We'll let our audience peek at themselves and take back the message that best resonated with them. That is why we have chosen a genre of satirical comedy because as a mature adult we should learn to laugh at ourselves.

It would indeed be an honour if you could join hands with us and help us reach out to a wider spectrum of society by either listing this play or writing an article about it. We couldn't think of a better day than "Republic Day" to bring this topic into "public mater". We'll be truly delighted if you could watch the play.
